These pumpkin fritters are seasoned with garlic and parmesan cheese and coated with almond flour. What you have is a savory and salty snack with a hint of sweetness. They are so delicious that you won’t want to stop at just one. Thankfully, there is only 1g net carbs in each fritter, so you can indulge!

These keto pumpkin fritters are made with real pumpkin puree. In fact, if you are carving pumpkins, make your own puree and use it to make these low-carb and healthy fritters.

Since I made them in the air fryer, they aren’t deep-fried. This makes them even healthier because they don’t have all that extra grease or oil on them.

There is something so delicious about crispy little fritters. They remind me of comfort food.  You’ll love the salty and savory taste of these fritters with the unmistakable pumpkin flavor underneath. 

Almond Flour Fritters

When you use almond flour as the coating, make sure you are using almond flour and not almond meal. They are sold next to each other in the store, so it is easy to mix them up. Almond meal has a grainy texture and isn’t the best for fritters.

Fried foods like fritters don’t last very long in the refrigerator before they start to soften. Store these pumpkin fritters in an airtight container or food storage bag. They will stay fresh in the refrigerator for about 3 days. 

What Do You Eat With Fritters? 

What you eat with them depends on when you are eating them. I like to eat these fritters with my lunch. Their crispy texture is the best thing and I enjoy it when I’m eating either a soup (like Tuscan sausage soup) or keto-friendly wrap (like this tuna salad lettuce wrap). You can also serve these fritters on the side with low-carb cheesy squash casserole. They taste amazing together.

Air Fryer Fritter Tips

I seriously love to use my air fryer! It sure made this air fryer pickle chips recipe a breeze. Anytime you use your air fryer, spray the basket with non-stick spray. This will make it easier to clean up.

You should also check on your fritters halfway through the cooking time. Not all air fryers are the exact same. Until you know how quickly your air fryer cooks things, it is best to check on them.

These fritters do not need to be flipped, but some recipes call for you to flip the ingredient over halfway through cooking.

Easy Keto Pumpkin Fritters Air Fryer Recipe

Ingredients:

Almond Flour
Pumpkin Puree
Parmesan Cheese
Garlic Powder
Baking Powder

Instructions:

Preheat an air fryer to 350 degrees.

Add all of the ingredients to a mixing bowl and beat until well combined.

Form the dough into 10 evenly sized loose balls.

Cook on a sheet or cake pan in the air fryer for 5 minutes or until browned and cooked through.

  • 1 cup Almond Flour
  • 1/4 cup Pumpkin Puree
  • 1/3 cup Parmesan Cheese grated
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder

Instructions
 

  • Preheat an air fryer to 350 degrees.
