It’s a simple low carb dinner that’s ready in just 30 minutes.

Easy Keto Lo Mein With Ground Beef

The base is the actually the same as Italian spaghetti – peppers, onions, and ground beef. But then you add the Palmini noodles and then mix it all together with the sauce ingredients.

Now you have something that tastes completely different – but in a really good way! 

There are just 5 grams net carbs in each serving, so it can make a filling and delicious meal for your family. 

Best Keto Noodles 

My favorite type of low-carb noodles are Palmini noodles. I love that you don’t have to cook them – just open the can, rinse them off, and heat them up! 

Easy Keto Lo Mein With Ground Beef

Plus, they are really high in fiber, which is amazing for gut health. You could also make this recipe with either Miracle Noodles or zoodles.

Chinese Sides 

Serve beef lo mein with your favorite Chinese sides. I have a bunch of recipes you can choose from.

Start out with keto shrimp egg roll in a bowl or make some egg roll wraps. For a bit of fun, keto TikTok salmon sushi nori cups are a perfect choice.

It will stay fresh for up to three days. Then, reheat it in the microwave. 

It’s freezer-friendly, too. Keep it in a freezer-safe food bag or container.

Lo Mein With Ground Beef ingredients

Ingredients

  • Ground Beef
  • Onion 
  • Red and Orange Bell Peppers
  • Palmini Noodles 
  • Sesame Oil
  • Olive Oil 
  • Beef Broth 
  • Garlic 
  • Oyster Sauce 
  • Ginger Paste 
  • Swerve Brown Sugar Substitute 
  • Chopped Green Onions 

Directions 

Browning the ground beef

Add the ground beef, onion and peppers to a skillet over medium high heat, and saute until the meat is completely browned, and the vegetables have softened. Drain any excess grease.

Swerve Brown Sugar Substitute

Stir together the soy sauce, beef broth, sesame oil, Swerve, oyster sauce, minced garlic and ginger paste in a bowl.

Adding noodles to the peppers and onions

Place the palmini noodles into the skillet with the ground beef mixture.

Adding sauce to the noodles

Pour the sauce over the ingredients, and stir to combine.

Continue to saute for 5 minutes before serving.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound Ground Beef
  • 1/2 Onion chopped
  • 1/2 Red Bell Pepper sliced
  • 1/2 Orange Bell Pepper sliced
  • 1 tsp Sesame Oil
  • 3 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 can Palmini Noodles rinsed and drained
  • 2 tbsp Beef Broth
  • 2 tsp Minced Garlic
  • 1 tbsp Oyster Sauce
  • 2 tsp Ginger Paste
  • 1 tbsp Swerve Brown Sugar Substitute
  • 1/4 cup Chopped Green Onions

Instructions
 

  • Add the ground beef, onion and peppers to a skillet over medium high heat, and saute until the meat is completely browned, and the vegetables have softened.
  • Drain any excess grease.
  • Stir together the soy sauce, beef broth, sesame oil, Swerve, oyster sauce, minced garlic and ginger paste in a bowl.
  • Place the palmini noodles into the skillet with the ground beef mixture.
  • Pour the sauce over the ingredients, and stir to combine.
  • Continue to saute for 5 minutes before serving.
