Remake the hottest drink of fall in your kitchen. This low-carb pumpkin spice latte has all the flavor (and caffeine) and none of the carbs.
Pumpkin Spice Latte
Oh, the pumpkin spice latte. The PSL. When Starbucks brings it back, it’s the ultimate signal the fall is almost here!
Well, with this recipe, you don’t have to wait for Starbucks! You can enjoy your PSL whenever you want, any time of year.
And my recipe is made completely from scratch. You’ll feel good drinking it.
Not just because it tastes delicious, but you’ll relax, knowing exactly what’s in the latte. And, yes, it does contain real pumpkin!
Copycat Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte
This recipe makes just one pumpkin spice latte. I made it dairy free using almond milk and then topped it with a dairy free whipped topping.
Adding real pumpkin puree to the latte makes it extra creamy and balances out the sweet flavors with the spice from the pumpkin pie spice and the bitterness of the coffee.
Sugar-Free Pumpkin Spice Latte
This isn’t exactly sugar-free. There is natural sugar in the pumpkin puree and the milk. So keep that in mind when you’re making it.
But I called this sugar-free because it doesn’t have any added sugar, like the traditional PSL does.
The traditional version is made with a lot of syrup. In fact, in a grande Starbucks PSL, there are 52 grams of carbs!
What To Eat With A Latte
I think of a latte as a morning coffee, something that I drink to wake myself up. If you’re crazy about pumpkin this time of year then make either pumpkin chaffles or pumpkin snickerdoodle cookies.
They will taste delicious with the latte. If you want something savory instead, I love to make some keto sausage egg and cheese bites for breakfast.
A pumpkin spice latte also tastes like a dessert. If your sweet tooth is bugging you, then make some keto brownie muffins and keto caramel pecans.
Keto Starbucks Recipes
Making Starbucks food and drinks at home will save you money, but it will also give you full control over what is in them. No more worrying about whether they actually used almond milk or slipped up and used whole milk instead!
For a fun snack, you can’t go wrong with a slice of Keto Starbucks Gingerbread Loaf. And if you liked this latte, then make a Keto Pumpkin Chai Tea Latte or the popular Keto Brown Sugar Shaken Espresso.
And you can never go wrong with either a Keto Pink Drink or a Keto Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew.
