Put a new twist on a classic recipe. Keto taco spaghetti explodes with spice and flavor and served on top of keto spaghetti.

Taco Spaghetti 

This is a fun new way to enjoy the familiar flavors of tacos. The tender Palmini noodles are high in fiber and taste surprisingly perfect with the bold taco meat.

Keto Taco Spaghetti

If you haven’t tried to make a taco pasta meal, this is your chance. It tastes like your favorite Mexican meal, but instead of using tortillas, you serve it on top of noodles. 

Plus, every step of the process is easy to customize. I outlined exactly how much of each spice I used so that you can make any changes that you want.

If you want it to taste spicy, add some jalapeno slices. Want it to be smokier? Use more paprika.

There are 6 grams of net carbs in each serving, but if you have the carbs in your budget, add some diced tomatoes. 

Best Keto Noodles

My favorite type of low-carb pasta is Palmini. I love the taste and texture and that it comes in a can – so all I have to do is heat it up.

Keto Taco Spaghetti

You can also use zucchini noodles if you want; it tastes delicious, too. Other low-carb pasta options are butternut squash noodles and spaghetti squash.

They are higher in carbs, so you’ll have to adjust your carb amounts in each serving if you use them.

Keto Taco Spaghetti

I love eating keto taco chicken and jalapeno roll ups for lunch. They are super-easy and really low in carbs. Or make keto taco rice casserole as a zesty side dish.

For either lunch or dinner, keto taco hot pockets are always a fantastic choice. 

What to Eat With Pasta 

You can choose to serve this pasta with either your favorite Italian or Mexican sides. Since it’s flavored like tacos, I suggest serving it with Mexican sides. 

Keto Taco Spaghetti

I love to make it with some keto Mexican street cauliflower. They are roasted to perfection.

Any chance to make keto Mexican cauliflower rice, I take it! Or add a cold bold of keto aguachile to the table.

It’s a refreshing salad that has lots of amazing ingredients. Then, for dessert, serve some crispy keto churros are the perfect treat. 

Pasta Meal Prep 

Add taco spaghetti to your weekly meal prep. It’s really easy to warm back up and eat again in the week.

Keto Taco Spaghetti

Place it in an airtight container and put it in the refrigerator for up to three days. Since this recipe is so easy to make, I don’t recommend freezing it.

It takes just as long to reheat it as it does to make it fresh. It tastes much better fresh!

Keto Taco Spaghetti Ingredients

Ingredients

  • Angel Hair Palmini Noodles
  • Ground Beef
  • Onion 
  • Red and Green Bell Peppers
  • Chili Powder
  • Onion Powder
  • Garlic Powder
  • Paprika
  • Cumin 
  • Oregano 
  • Shredded Cheddar Cheese 
  • Chopped Green Onions 
  • Olive Oil 

Directions 

Cooking Ground Beef in a Skillet

In a large skillet over medium high heat, saute the ground beef, onions and peppers until the meat is completely browned and the vegetables have softened.

Drain any excess grease.

Chili Powder

In a small bowl, combine the chili powder, onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, cumin and oregano.

Keto Taco Spaghetti

Sprinkle the seasoning over the mixture in the skillet, and stir to combine. Saute another 3-5 minutes.

Keto Taco Spaghetti

In a separate skillet, add the oil over medium heat. Stir in the palmini noodles, and saute until heated through.

Top the noodles with the meat mixture.

Sprinkle with the cheese and green onions before serving.

  • 1/2 Red Bell Pepper Chopped

  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp Cumin
  • 1/2 tsp Oregano
  • 1 1/2 cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 1/4 cups Chopped Green Onions
  • 2 tsp Olive Oil
