These tuna bites taste just like chicken nuggets. They’re crispy on the outside and hot and delicate on the inside.

And the best part about them is that they’re made without any flour at all. No almond flour, no coconut flour, no crushed pork rinds.

All you have to do is mix everything together, roll them into nuggets, and air fry them. In ten minutes you’ll have a high-fat, high-protein snack or lunch.

This recipe makes 4 servings, with just 3 grams net carbs in each serving. You’ll fall in love with how easy they are to make, giving you plenty of room for culinary freedom and creativity.

Is it better to use tuna in water or oil? Honestly, both are good choices.

If you’re trying to lose weight, then tuna packed in water will have less calories but if one of your complaints about tuna is that it has a boring flavor, use the oil-packed variety.

It has a deeper flavor profile. Both types are good choices on keto.

There are a few different ways that you can change this recipe up to make it taste differently. If you want it to have a bit more bite and heat, then use pepper jack cheese and mix in some red pepper flakes.

Keto Air Fryer Tuna Bites Ingredients

Ingredients

  • Canned Tuna
  • Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • Garlic Powder
  • Onion Powder 
  • Eggs
  • Salt and Pepper

Directions 

Adding shredded cheddar cheese

Place the tuna, cheese, onion powder, garlic powder, eggs and salt and pepper to taste into a mixing bowl, and blend to combine well.

Form the mixture into small patties, and place into the air fryer,

  • 15 ounces Canned Tuna drained well
  • 2 cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Onion Powder
  • 2 large Eggs
  • Salt and Pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Place the tuna, cheese, onion powder, garlic powder, eggs and salt and pepper to taste into a mixing bowl, and blend to combine well.
  • Form the mixture into small patties, and place into the air fryer,
  • Cook at 400 degrees for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through the cook time.
