The most romantic dessert of all is now low-carb and keto-friendly. Chocolate dipped strawberries are juicy and melt on your tongue. It’s a tantalizing treat that will keep your waistline small.
Are Strawberries Keto
Maybe you’ve heard people say that fruit is high in carbs, so you shouldn’t eat fruit on a keto diet. That’s kind of true. Thankfully, it’s also kind of NOT true. It all depends on which fruit you eat, and how much you eat.
Yes, strawberries are keto-friendly. In fact, berries are the most keto-friendly types of fruit that you can eat! Here’s the stats on strawberries.
One medium strawberry has about 0.9 grams of total carbs and 0.2 grams of dietary fiber. When you subtract the fiber, that means there is only 0.7 grams of net carbs in each strawberry.
When you’re craving something sweet, a strawberry is always a fantastic choice!
Chocolate Dipped Strawberries
Chocolate is a very romantic treat. And so are strawberries. When you cover strawberries in chocolate, you have the most romantic (and, dare I say, sexy) dessert on the planet.
The best thing about chocolate dipped strawberries is that they are almost as fun to make as they are to eat. If you have kids, a spouse, or best friends, have fun dipping strawberries together.

Even though this recipe is pretty straightforward, I have a few tips that will help it go even smoother for you.
First, buy more strawberries than you think you’ll use. Bigger strawberries are easier to dip and handle than small ones, and you get a mixture of sizes in each container.
Also, don’t remove the stems. Keep them on your berries so you can use them to hold on to while you dip the strawberries in the chocolate.
Have fun making different designs with them too. Do half and half with milk and white chocolate, use dark chocolate, or use a piping bag to create hearts or flowers with the chocolate.
Keto Strawberry Dessert
Since strawberries are so nutritious (they are an excellent source of vitamin C), they are the perfect thing to eat whenever your sweet tooth starts screaming.
Save a batch of these chocolate covered strawberries in the refrigerator so that you always have a healthy, low-carb treat whenever you crave it.
Store extra chocolate strawberries in a sealed container in the refrigerator for up to three days. After about three days, the strawberries will become pretty soft, so it’s best to eat them when they are fresh.
Do you really enjoy strawberries? Then make some keto strawberry chocolate cheesecake bark. It’s another delicious way to combine strawberries and chocolate! Or make some low-carb no-bake strawberry cheesecake bites.
Romantic Dessert
Serve some chocolate covered strawberries on a plate with rose petals around it, and some candles flickering. It’s the perfect way to set the mood.
Add some small bowls of easy keto chocolate mousse to the table with them and you are ready for a truly romantic dinner.
