Christmas Tree Cheese Ball
Just look at this! Isn’t it beautiful!
It looks just like a real Christmas tree, but it’s filled with the tastiest combination of cheese and herbs that you’ll ever eat. It’s not just shaped and colored like a Christmas tree, but it’s decorated, too!
The pine nuts looks like garland and the dried cranberries look like Christmas ornaments.
If you need a really easy appetizer that will show off and looks like you worked for hours on it, then make this Christmas Tree Cheese Ball. It looks amazing, but it also tastes better than any other cheese ball too.
It will serve about eight people, so it’s perfect for any party that you go to. Keep reading and I’ll share my best tips and information about making a Christmas tree cheese ball everyone loves.
Keto Christmas Appetizer
It seems like the winter holidays are packed with parties and dinners. Between Thanksgiving and New Year’s, there are family dinners, church potlucks, and so much more.
That’s why you need a recipe like this one. You can mix all the ingredients ahead of time.
Then, you just have to shape it to look like a tree and decorate it. It’s a quick and easy appetizer.
There are 5 grams net carbs in each serving. That’s another reason I prefer to make my own appetizers.
If I make them, then I know there will be something I can eat that won’t throw me out of ketosis. This cheese ball is filled with cream cheese and cheddar cheese.
Most of the carbs come from the cranberries and pine nuts.
Holiday Cheese Ball
This cheese ball has a mildly spicy flavor that is pretty surprising, especially since it looks earthy with all the chopped curly leaf parsley that is all over it. If you want the cheese ball to taste even spicier, add more Sriracha.
The Worcestershire sauce rounds out the spiciness of the pepper sauce, so add more of that too if you want.
You can also change how it tastes by using a different kind of cheese. Use extra sharp cheddar or add in some shredded pepperjack cheese for even more spice.
Keto Dippers
How do you eat a cheese ball on a keto diet? You have to use low-carb dippers.
My favorite kinds are sliced cucumbers, peppers, or even broccoli or cauliflower. If you prefer crackers, then I suggest making Homemade keto cheese crackers or use some low-carb pizza crisps.
Carrot sticks and pork rinds are all great choices, too. Or grab some low-carb crackers from the store.
How To Store Cheese Balls
The Christmas tree cheese ball is the perfect appetizer to make ahead of the party, giving you more time to plan and decorate. Store the cheese ball mixture in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
Serve or eat it within three days.
Can you freeze cheese ball? I don’t recommend it.
As it thaws, the texture will change and it won’t be nearly as delicious.
