The secret to an amazing Keto Korean stir fry is in the sauce. It’s sweet with a hidden spicy kick! This is the perfect takeout copycat.
Korean Stir Fry
Shake up your dinner routine and add some spice and color to your table! With bright red and orange bell peppers, crispy matchstick carrots, and a sweet and spicy stir fry sauce, Korean stir fry is a recipe that you’ll make over and over again!
Stir fry recipes are kind of a “fridge clean out” recipe because you can use up any leftover veggies that you have. Make this with cauliflower, broccoli, zucchini, or thinly sliced turnips!
Once you learn how to make a basic stir fry, you’ll be able to change it up and make a different recipe each time.
Keto Beef Stir Fry
Don’t feel like you have to make a beef stir fry every single time. This recipe tastes just as good with leftover pork or chicken, too. Or make it with some shrimp – the sky is the limit! It’s a great way to use leftover meat.
Beef stir fry is also delicious in your meal prep. Save it in an airtight food storage container in the refrigerator for up to three days.
Then, reheat it on the stove for the best flavors and textures.
Best Beef For Stir Fry
I like to grab some thinly sliced steaks from the grocery store. You can often find some that is already sliced and ready for stir fry.
Flank steak will be your best bet. It is what most Chinese restaurants use in their beef stir fries. It has a robust flavor and is usually lowest priced too.
What To Eat With Stir Fry
Korean beef stir fry is a complete meal by itself, you don’t really need to add much to the table with it. If you want, you can make cauliflower fried rice and low-carb Asian slaw on the side. Together, it will all taste like takeout, but a lot fewer carbs!
Add a side of keto bok choy stir fry with soy sauce eggs. This has the same umami flavors with bright green bok choy.
And you can never go wrong with a bowl of keto egg drop soup – it’s a staple whenever I make Asian food for dinner. Instead of a salad, I’ll serve some low-carb tuna sushi in a bowl.
Same flavors but fewer carbs.
Keto Noodles
I used a can of palmini noodles in this stir fry. It’s super easy since they are already pre-cooked in the can. Plus, they are wonderfully low in carbs.
You can also make this dish with zucchini noodles, spaghetti squash, or butternut squash noodles.
