Keto Pork Chops
It’s normal to be nervous about making pork chops on the stove. Unfortunately, it’s really easy to overcook them and come out with dry pork chops.
I’ve made quite a few different pork chop recipes and the secret to juicy, tasty pork chops is to cook them slowly over low heat and check the internal temperature often. As soon as they reach 145F, take them off the stove and let them set for 5-10 minutes.
They will still have a tiny blush of pink in the middle – this is what you want! They are safe to eat and will be the juiciest, tastiest pork chops you have ever made!
I also have another secret – keep reading!
Pan Seared Pork Chops
My other secret for juicy pan seared pork chops is to sear them in olive oil on medium-high heat first. This locks in the juices. Don’t cook them fully at this heat, but as soon as they have a little golden color to them, remove them from the heat.
Then, add some butter and fresh herbs. The fresh herbs make the flavors so much more pronounced! Turn the heat down to medium or even medium-low. Use the butter to baste the pork chops as they cook.
They will finish cooking fully and have the incredible flavors from the garlic and rosemary in them.
Rosemary Pork Chops
Trust me, use fresh rosemary. When you pick up a sprig of fresh rosemary and compare it to a jar of rosemary, you can smell the difference. This bold aroma is what gives your pork chops the trademark flavor that you’re going to love.
Dried rosemary won’t work. Use fresh sprigs. It’s worth the extra cost.
Skillet Pork Chops
Whether you use boneless or bone-in pork chops is completely up to you. Keep in mind that my times and instructions are for bone-in chops.
If you cook boneless pork chop cutlets, they will cook a lot faster, so watch them and monitor the internal temperature.
What To Eat With Pork Chops
These pan-seared pork chops will make the tastiest dinner ever! Add some cheesy cauliflower bread sticks to the side, along with some bacon and broccoli salad. Or add some roasted asparagus and keto garlic knots to the table.
If that’s not enough, make the copycat Olive Garden salad, too. If you’d like something sweeter, make the cucumber and strawberry salad.
I have also served these Keto pork chops with zucchini and squash, but they’d also taste great alongside these Easy Sauteed Mushrooms!
