Keto Pork Chops
Pork chops are one of the most misunderstood cuts of meat out there. So many people think they are dry and tasteless – but they haven’t tried this recipe! The secret to perfect pork chops is to cook it slowly while it is smothered in a creamy sauce.
The fats from the sauce will soak into the meat, infusing every inch of it with amazing flavor.
Creamy skillet pork chops are my favorite weeknight family meal to make when I am running short on time. It takes almost no prep time and you make everything in the same skillet. Clean-up is a breeze too!
Pork Chops In Tomato Sauce
Tomatoes are high in natural sugars, so it’s best not to use too many of them. I was able to extract all the best tomato flavors from one cup of diced tomatoes. For the best results, use fresh tomatoes from the garden.
If you don’t have fresh tomatoes, canned will work too.
This is really mild recipe that doesn’t have a lot of bold flavors. It’s perfect for picky eaters (like kids). You can make a few easy adjustments if you prefer meals with bolder, spicier flavors. Just sprinkle some red pepper flakes on the pork chops and garnish with fresh jalapenos.
That’s it! You will notice the difference that makes.
Keto Tomato Cream Sauce
Save this recipe even if it is just to keep the tomato cream sauce. You can reuse it in a bunch of different ways. Use it on top of your favorite type of low-carb pasta. Or cook some chicken breasts in the sauce instead of pork chops.
You can also cook shrimp in this sauce or drizzle it on top of some grilled salmon to give it extra flavor.
How To Use Leftover Pork Chops
The best thing about this recipe is that you can chop up the pork chops and use them again in your meal prep later this week! Chop the pork chops up into small pieces and add it on top of your favorite lettuce salad.
Or place the pork chops on top of some low-carb pasta and top with some Italian dressing. Now you have a tasty keto pasta salad. Or mix some chopped pork chops into cauliflower mac and cheese. It’s a cheesy lunch idea you’ll love.
Skillet Pork Chops
Are you ready for the easiest weeknight meal yet? Add some cheesy cauliflower bread sticks to the side, along with some bacon and broccoli salad. Or add some roasted asparagus and keto garlic knots to the table.
It’s so easy to turn these pork chops into a filling meal for your family.
