It tastes more like dessert than breakfast, but it’s full of protein – this low-carb white chocolate cranberry chaffle is the perfect breakfast.
Cranberry Chaffle
I have to admit that the chaffle has to be one of the best inventions and keto diet recipes! They are incredibly simple and really do taste just like a waffle.
And this chaffle is filled with cranberries and white chocolate chips, so they taste like you’re eating dessert for breakfast. If you’re looking for a fancy recipe to show off for holiday brunch, then you just found it!
This is something you’ll be proud to share with everyone. It doesn’t just look fancy, but it tastes scrumptious too.
Christmas Chaffle
These tasty and low-carb chaffles are the perfect thing to serve for Christmas breakfast or brunch. Not only are cranberries an iconic ingredient during the holidays, but they have happy Christmas colors, too.
Plus, you can make a bunch of chaffles in no time flat.
One quick note. They will turn out a lot better if you use a mini waffle maker.
I love how crispy the edges get, and the chocolate melts beautifully.
White Chocolate Chaffle
One of the best culinary inventions ever is white chocolate chips. They taste just like classic white chocolate, but with a fraction of the carbs and you will love them in these chaffles.
The sweet flavor of the white chocolate offsets the tart cranberries in the best way. They taste so good together that you’ll never go back to boring chaffles again.
In fact, I love the white chocolate chips so much that I’ve used them in a lot of other recipes before. I’ve made keto white chocolate peppermint bark and low-carb white chocolate carrot cake balls with them.
Low-Carb Chaffles
Even with the homemade cranberry syrup topping, there are still just 7 grams net carbs in each serving. That’s really surprising, especially since cranberries are known from being high in carbs.
With the almond flour and mozzarella cheese, these sweet chaffles actually have quite a bit of protein in them, too. If you’re ever craving something sweet, make these.
They will satisfy your sweet tooth while keeping you in ketosis. And if you want to keep the carb count even lower, just don’t add any of the cranberry syrup topping.
How To Store Chaffles
These chaffles only take like 10 minutes to make. So I really suggest you just make them fresh instead of trying to store leftover but if you have leftovers, store them separately from the cranberry topping.
Keep leftover chaffles in an airtight container or food storage bag and keep them in the refrigerator. Then, reheat them in the toaster so they get nice and crispy again.
