This sticky keto garlic chicken is low in carbs and tastes perfect with some cauliflower rice. With only 3g net carbs per serving, you can indulge in more than one serving.

This recipe is so delicious that you’ll want to lick the plate clean. It has a rich umami-flavored sauce that is sweetened with a honey replacement and spiced up with Sriracha and ginger paste. All the spices and flavors combine to create a chicken that is a blast to eat! It outperforms even restaurant recipes!

Homemade Chicken Strips 

The best kind of chicken to use to make homemade chicken strips is boneless skinless chicken thighs. The dark meat is more tender and soaks up the flavor better. You can use chicken breast too, but it won’t be nearly as juicy as the chicken thighs.

Don’t forget the garnish! I love to sprinkle sesame seeds on top, along with some chopped green onions. They add a nice zest to the already flavourful chicken.

This garlic chicken tastes just as delicious the next day as part of your meal prep. In fact, you can chop it up and stir fry it with some cauliflower rice. Or, wrap it up in a large piece of lettuce for a quick and spicy lettuce wrap lunch. There are lots of ways to enjoy it for days after you make it.

Garlic Chicken Thighs

You can also turn this into a slow cooker recipe! I love using my slow cooker when I really don’t have time to cook. Just add all the ingredients to the slow cooker and let it cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 4-6 hours. You might want to make some extra sauce on the stovetop just in case it cooks down too much in the slow cooker.

Ingredients:

Boneless Chicken Thighs
Olive Oil
Low-Sodium Soy Sauce
Garlic
Sugar-Free Honey
Sriracha
Ginger Paste
Sesame Oil

Garnish

Green Onion
Sesame Seeds

Instructions:

Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium high heat.

Add the chicken to the heated skillet and saute until cooked through. Season the chicken with pepper to taste.

In a bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, sugar free honey, minced garlic, sriracha sauce, ginger paste and sesame oil.

  • 1/4 cup Low-Sodium Soy Sauce

  • 2 tsp Sriracha
  • 2 tsp Ginger Paste
  • 1/2 tsp Sesame Oil
