Remake your favorite Deviled egg salad with an addicting twist! Keto Big Mac egg salad tastes just like your favorite burger.
Big Mac Egg Salad
Is a Big Mac one of your favorite fast food burgers? It was always one of mine.
When I made keto my lifestyle, I recreated the iconic burgers in a bunch of different tasty recipes. My Big Mac bites are perfect for parties, Big Mac smash burgers are a good lunch, and my keto Big Mac salad is a healthy way to eat more veggies.
Out of all of them, the Big Mac salad was my favorite one. So, I recreated it as an egg salad.
Turns out, the mayo and pickle dressing tastes perfect with hard boiled eggs! This egg salad is zesty, tangy, and slightly-sweet. After one bite, you’ll eat it up and it might just become your new favorite type of egg salad.
Deviled Egg Salad
To make this salad, I combined Big Mac sauce with deviled egg salad. And the result is culinary perfection! The flavors layer on top of each other in an effortlessly delicious way! If you love deviled egg salad,
I’ve made different versions of them before. My most popular one was Low Carb Deviled Egg Salad With Broccoli and Bacon – probably because of the bacon.
My Keto French Onion Deviled Egg Salad is also really popular.
I combined the pickles, eggs, and mustard with some Swerve confectioner’s sugar substitute, more pickles, and cheese – and a handful of other ingredients. Before you look at ketchup and think, “does this really belong in an egg salad?”
You have to try it! The Big Mac sauce is perfect with the hardboiled eggs.
Keto Egg Salad
There is one ingredient that you can leave out without changing the overall flavor of the egg salad, and that’s the onions. If you aren’t a fan of onions, leave them out.
But I suggest trying to add some, even just a few tablespoons. They enhance all the other ingredients in the salad.
And make sure that you are using sugar-free ketchup. If you don’t, the sugar in the ketchup might kick you out of ketosis.
You should also use dick pickle relish, not sweet relish. If you don’t have dill pickle relish, chop up some dill pickles by hand.
How To Eat Egg Salad
There are lots of ways to enjoy this salad. Serve it as a dip with cucumber slices (or some cucumber chips).
Spread the egg salad on your favorite slice of keto-friendly bread as a Big Mac egg salad sandwich. Or serve it in a lettuce wrap for an even lower-carb sandwich.
Honestly, my favorite way to eat egg salad is to grab a fork and dig in. It makes a simple and quick lunch that I can effortlessly.
How Long Does Egg Salad Last
If you are going to make this recipe ahead of time, I suggest just boiling the eggs and chopping up the veggies. Then, all you have to do is mix it all together and serve.
After the egg salad is mixed together, it will only stay fresh in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. After about 2 days you’ll notice a little separation happening in the dressing – it’s safe to eat, just doesn’t look as appealing.
