Keto Edible Cookie Dough
This cookie dough isn’t just safe to eat raw, it’s the best way to eat it. You won’t want to bake this cookie dough (the cookies won’t turn out very well unless you add a few other ingredients), so just grab a spoon and dig in.
It will quickly become your comfort dessert, with every bite filling you with nostalgia. Every bite tastes just like the cookie dough you made as a kid!
It’s just as creamy and sweet, with bits of chocolate chips. But instead of being high in sugar (and containing problematic raw eggs), this raw cookie dough is actually good for you.
It’s an excellent source of protein and healthy fats.
Cottage Cheese Cookie Dough
When you use an ice cream scoop and scoop it into a bowl, it kind of looks like ice cream! But this edible cottage cheese cookie dough tastes better when it’s chilled, not frozen.
Although, if you froze it, the cookie dough will taste like frozen yogurt.
There are two things that will make the edible cookie dough have the creamiest, smoothest texture. First, puree the cottage cheese in a blender.
This will remove the curds. Next, make sure you use almond flour, not almond meal.
If you accidentally use almond meal, the cookie dough will taste grainy.
Best Keto Chocolate Chips
Hands down, the best keto-friendly chocolate chips are made by a company called Lily’s Chocolate. They don’t have any funky aftertaste.
In fact, they taste just like real chocolate! I’ve used them before to make keto chocolate chip red velvet waffles and keto chocolate chip zucchini muffins.
Grab a big bag of them! You’ll find new ways to use them.
They don’t add carbs but they sure do add that delicious chocolate flavor to whatever you make.
Keto Snacks
Speaking of chocolate chips, this edible cookie dough will taste amazing with all the other keto chocolate chip snack recipes that I have. Use the search bar to search for “chocolate chip” and you’ll get a bunch of yummy recipes.
Some of my favorite ones are keto chocolate chip pumpkin cookies, keto chocolate chip cookie skillet, and the refreshing keto mint chocolate chip ice cream. Make any of these whenever you start craving chocolate.
How To Store Cookie Dough
The edible cookie dough will last about a week in the refrigerator. Store it in an airtight container and keep it refrigerated.
Can you freeze edible cookie dough? Yes, you can!
Place a sheet of parchment paper in a loaf pan. Then, put the edible cookie dough in the loaf pan and seal it completely with a lid or aluminum foil.
It will stay fresh for up to six months if you keep the air off of it.
