Elevate your burger game by adding bacon wrapped jalapeno poppers on top! This keto jalapeno poppers burger will quickly become your new favorite low-carb burger.

Bacon Wrapped Jalapeno Poppers
I’ve always said that the best way to make something taste better is to wrap it up in bacon. And even though jalapeno poppers are amazing by themselves, they take on another level of deliciousness when you wrap them in bacon and bake them until they are crispy!

Even if you don’t add the poppers to your burgers, save this recipe so you know how to make bacon wrapped jalapeno poppers. They are a spicy, creamy, savory treat!
They are just as good as bacon wrapped shimp skewers or bacon wrapped cabbage.
Jalapeno Poppers Burger
I normally say that you can eat a burger however you want – without a bun, with a lettuce wrap as a bun, or with keto bread as a bun. But when you add jalapeno poppers on top of the burger patty, it becomes too heavy for a large piece of lettuce.

So, I suggest using a keto-friendly hamburger bun. It will hold all of the toppings without breaking.
But, if there is any reason that you aren’t going to use keto-friendly hamburger buns, then I suggest eating the poppers on the side and wrapping the burger in lettuce.
Keto Popper Burgers
The jalapeno poppers give the burger so much flavor, that you don’t need to add a bunch of toppings. But, if you want to add some toppings, keep them low-carb.

Some raw red onions, lettuce, and pickles all work great! And for the cheese, I suggest using something with a bold flavor.
Sliced pepper jack cheese is a fantastic choice. If you want to save time, make the bacon wrapped jalapeno poppers ahead of time.
Store the cheesy peppers in an airtight container and keep them refrigerated. For the best results, eat them within three days.
How To Cook Burgers at Home
There are three ways to cook the perfect hamburgers at home – on the stove, on the grill, or using the air fryer. No matter which option you choose, use an instant read food thermometer.

This way, you can tell if they’re fully cooked. Hamburgers should be cooked until they reach an internal temperature of 165F.
To make them on the stove, fry the hamburgers in a large skillet. Cook them over medium heat.
If the grease starts to splatter, turn down the heat. Flip them over halfway through cooking and when they’re fully cooked, place them on a paper towel and blog the extra grease off.
If you want to grill them, heat the grill to medium heat. Place the hamburger patties on the grill and let them cook for about 4-5 minutes per side.
You can also make hamburgers in the air fryer! I have an air fryer cheeseburger recipe you can follow.
Keto Burger
Add these jalapeno popper cheeseburgers to your weekly meal prep. Obviously, store the burger separately from the toppings and the buns.

Store the cooked hamburger patties in an airtight container in the refrigerator and place the toppings in separate containers.
Keep them in the refrigerator for up to three days and then, reheat them in the microwave. Yum!
