These keto slow cooker steak fajitas are a fiesta on your plate! Tender strips of steak with crispy bell peppers – 4 net carbs per serving!

Forget about complicated recipes. These keto steak fajitas only have six easy ingredients. You can certainly add more ingredients if you want, or just keep it simple.

This is a perfect recipe to make for your family on those days when you really don’t have time to cook. Just throw everything into the Crockpot, turn it on, and dinner will be ready when you are.

I love using my slow cooker! I can just place everything into it, and then I don’t have to worry about dinner for the rest of the day. Our favorite slow cooker recipe of all time is the keto Mississippi pot roast, and we also enjoy this easy Keto Slow Cooker Beef Curry

It comes out tender and juicy every single time. These fajitas is our next choice we aren’t in the mood for the pot roast or curry.

Plus, it’s easy to change this recipe to match your family’s tastes. Do they like things spicy? Add some jalapenos. Remove the bell peppers if they aren’t a fan of them. Or just slow cook the beef with the fajita seasoning and then use them as a topping for keto nachos. 

Slow Cooker Steak Fajitas

This is also a really simple recipe to prepare ahead of time. Do all the chopping at once, then store all the ingredients together in a freezer-safe food storage bag. Keep them in the freezer for up to six months.

When you are ready to make them, just grab the bag and let it thaw in the refrigerator overnight. Then, dump the entire bag into your crockpot and let it cook all day. No chopping or food prep needed – it’s so easy!

This is the perfect way to Mexican food at home. Add some Mexican cauliflower rice on the side, along with your favorite keto tortilla chips and homemade guacamole. Start out with some taco soup and you have a Mexican feast for the entire family.

I prefer to use skirt steak for fajitas. Honestly, since you are going to cook it all day over low heat, you can buy a tough cut of meat. Cooking it slowly will tenderize even the toughest cut of beef.

If you get a really tough cut of beef, tenderize it by letting it marinade in acid (like apple cider vinegar).

If you find some keto-friendly tortillas at the store, grab them! There are a lot of different low-carb wraps that are made from cauliflower and other low-carb ingredients. I’ve used large pieces of lettuce as wraps before.

Sliced steak meat
Red bell pepper
Green bell pepper 
Medium onion 
Beef broth
Fajita seasoning

Instructions:

Add the meat, peppers and onions to the Crockpot.
