Every slice of bread is crammed with ham, cheese, garlic, and mustard. Then, it’s baked to perfection, with all the cheese melting and becoming perfectly gooey.
You’ll get the perfect cheese pull every single time. In fact, it’s the cheese that makes this sandwich so incredible!
I used a combination of two types of cheese – swiss and mozzarella. The swiss cheese has the perfect flavor to match the ham and the mild-flavored mozzarella gives it that iconic cheese pull that everyone loves.

This recipe makes 8 servings, and each serving is 4 grams net carbs. The secret to keeping the carb count low is use your favorite kind of low-carb bread.

What’s the best kind of keto-friendly bread? Only you can answer that because each brand is so different.
This recipe does best if you use bread with thick slices. Some brands of keto bread are sliced really thin, that way they can say there are only a few carbs in each slice, but the secret is that each slice is half the size of normal bread.

Pull-Apart Ham and Cheese Bread
If you’re craving a ham and swiss sandwich, bake this instead. It’s the ultimate ham and swiss sandwich – way better than a coldcut!

Just be careful with the kind of ham that you use. Don’t make it with a maple or honey ham.
Instead, use a deli ham that’s savory and unsweetened. I also used Dijon mustard in between each slice.
This is another place where you can be creative and customize it. If you don’t like mustard, then don’t use it at all.
Have fun and use different types of mustard. For some heat, use spicy brown mustard.
Baked Sandwiches
Bake the sandwiches at 400F for only 15 minutes. It doesn’t take long!

Make the sandwiches just long enough for the ham to get nice and hot and for the cheese to melt. You can make them in the air fryer, too!
This works best if you have a larger air fryer because the entire loaf of bread needs to fit into the air fryer basket. Then, air fry the sandwiches at 400F for 10 minutes.

Ingredients
- Keto Bread
- Deli Ham
- Swiss Cheese
- Mozzarella Cheese
- Butter
- Garlic
- Dijon Mustard
Directions

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Place the bread loaf in a sheet of aluminum foil, and cradle it like a bowl around the bottom of the loaf.
Blend together the butter, garlic and dijon in a bowl.

Spread the butter mixture in between each of the slices of bread.

Place a slice of cheese and 2-3 slices of ham in between each of the slices of bread.

Cover the top of the loaf with aluminum foil and bake for 10 minutes.

Remove the foil, sprinkle with the mozzarella cheese and bake for another 5 minutes or until the cheese is melted.
