Buffalo Chicken Cottage Cheese Dip
Hey, buffalo wing-lovers – I’ve got the perfect dip for you! This hot and cheesy dip is ready in 15 minutes!

It’s the perfect last-minute snack, appetizer, or home tailgating snack. This recipe feeds five people – so if you’re feeding a crowd, double or triple it.
It has all the flavors of your favorite buffalo chicken wings. The vinegary tanginess is unmistakable and you can dial up (or down) the heat levels without changing the flavor.
Keep reading and I’ll share all my secrets so you can make the perfect dip every single time.
Low-Carb Cottage Cheese Dip
If the first thing you thought when you read the title was, “but what about the curds in the cottage cheese?” Then I’ve got ya covered.

The very first step is to put the cottage cheese and cream cheese in a blender. You’ll pulse it until it’s all smooth.
What about if you don’t have a blender? A food processor will work beautifully and if you have a handheld immersion blender, use that instead.
Hot Cottage Cheese Dip
Another thing I love about this dip is how easy it is to customize and change. If you don’t like cottage cheese, use ricotta cheese instead.

It has a similar flavor and texture. And you can always make your own homemade ranch seasoning, too.
That’s a fun way to really control exactly how the dip tastes. But the easiest way to control how it tastes is to change which type of cheese you use.

I used Colby Jack Cheese. It’s mild and melts perfectly.
For something with some bite, use pepper jack cheese. Or buy some habanero or jalapeno cheddar cheese and shred it at home.
Spicy Cottage Cheese Dip
Can you make this dip ahead of time? Yes, you sure can!

Store the fully-cooked buffalo chicken cottage cheese dip in an airtight container. Keep it in the refrigerator for up to three days.
Then, reheat it in a skillet or the microwave. Remember, the dip might thicken, but as soon as you heat it up, it will melt again.
Can you make it in the slow cooker? I don’t recommend it.
If you have a small one and only use it to keep it warm, that will be OK. But actually cooking it in the slow cooker might lead to the dip burning.
I also prefer not to cook dairy-based recipes in the slow cooker because it leads to the ingredients separating.
What To Eat With Dip
What are your favorite things to use as dippers while you’re on the keto diet? I like to use sliced cucumbers and bell peppers.

They’re crunchy, full of fiber, and you don’t have to cook them! But you can also make keto tortilla chips by baking some keto tortillas.
For something extra fun, use some slices from Keto Viral Onion Ring Pizza with this dip. Or dip your Low-Carb Healthy Onion Rings into it.
Since dips are usually a snack or party food, here are some more appetizers that you can serve at a party. How about some Keto Cream Cheese Bagel Bites? They are so much fun to just pop into your mouth! For something sweet, make Keto Cinnamon Cream Cheese Bites. And for something with lots of protein, make Keto Italian Sushi.
