Perfect for veggies and keto-friendly crackers, cottage cheese ranch dip is zesty and addictive! Grab your blender – this is gonna be good!
Cottage Cheese Ranch Dip
There is so much to love about this creamy, zesty dip! For starters, it’s made with whole ingredients – just the cottage cheese and a combination of spices.
Yes, you read that right – you’ll be creating ranch dressing from scratch! I love creating things from whole ingredients because I can adjust the flavors so it tastes how I want it to.
But I also love making my own ranch dressing because I just don’t trust the packets. Sometimes they add anti-caking ingredients that other things that might not support my keto journey.
When you use only cottage cheese and spices, you know what’s in it. And this is a nutritious dip that’s also really tasty at the same time.
Low-Carb Cottage Cheese Dip
This is a very low-carb dip and I like to add it to my lunch rotation. Since the only carbs in the dip come from the cottage cheese, you can use it as a salad dressing for your chopped salad, as a dip for chicken nuggets, or spread it on top of your keto sandwiches.
I also love to take this dip to parties and pot-lucks. When I do, I know there will be at least something I can eat that isn’t high in carbs or sugar.
But I suggest making a double (or triple batch). It doesn’t taste like a keto dip, so everyone will eat it up!
Easy Cottage Cheese Dip
This recipe is also one of the easiest ones you’ll ever find. In fact, after making once or twice, you won’t even have to measure the spices.
You can literally eyeball how much dill and garlic salt you want in it. And if you don’t like the curds in cottage cheese, just use a blender and blend until it’s as creamy as yogurt.
If you don’t mind the curds, you don’t have to blend it! You can just sprinkle the herbs and spices into the cottage cheese and then eat it!
It’s really that simple.
Oh, and if you want to take this dip to the next level, add some fresh dill on top as a garnish. It will look and smell amazing.
Keto Cottage Cheese Recipes
Cottage cheese is one of the most versatile ingredients out there. You can use it in so many different kinds of recipes!
It adds creaminess and richness to recipes.
Obviously, you can make a dip with it. I’ve also made Keto Dorito Dip With Cottage Cheese before and it was so good.
But did you know you can also make Keto Cottage Cheese Bagels too? They have the perfect texture, and you can toast them and spread cream cheese on top.
Cottage cheese is also the secret ingredient to really tasty keto pumpkin pancakes.
And if you want some really easy recipes, how about making a Low Carb Blueberry Cottage Cheese Parfait? Or for something really sweet, whip up a batch of Keto Cottage Cheese Edible Cookie Dough (yes, it really tastes like cookie dough!).
How To Store Cottage Cheese Dip
If you want to make a really large batch of dip, or you want to make it ahead of your upcoming party, store it correctly so it lasts longer. Store your homemade cottage cheese dip in an airtight container and keep it in the refrigerator for up to three days.
Honestly, it will still be safe to eat after about a week. But as it sits in the refrigerator, it could start to separate. This is easy to fix – just give it a good stir and it will be good as new.
