Relish the sweet and tart flavors in these low-carb cherry cheesecake cups. Made with real cherries, it’s a dessert fit for parties.

Are Cherries Low Carb?
Cherries are moderately ok on the keto diet. A few of them won’t kick you out of ketosis, but eating too many at once really could.

This is because a half cup of cherries contains eight grams of carbs. So you could add a few of them on top of one of your cheesecake cups, but be careful and measure how much you eat.
How do you lower the carb count in these cherry cheesecake cups? If you want to keep carb count down then add a cherry flavoring to the fluff or swap the cherries for strawberries and a low-carb chocolate syrup. It’s pretty easy!
Cherry Cheesecake Cups
Sometimes, you just crave the sweet and tart combination of a cherry dessert. But as you read earlier, it’s important to be careful with how many cherries you eat at once when you’re on the keto diet.

These cherry cheesecake cups are perfect because you can easily control exactly how many cherries you add on top!
If you love cherry desserts, then I have a few other desserts you might enjoy too. My Low Carb Cherry Chocolate Cheesecake Fluff is made with cherry flavoring instead of the real fruit.
This gives you all the flavor without the carbs. and my Keto Cherry Cheesecake Fluff is really similar. The main difference is that this time I used sugar-free Jello mix to make it lighter and even fluffier.
Low-Carb Cheesecake Cups
I love making recipes in little cups – especially desserts. They’re basically party-ready. Just place them on a serving tray and people can pick them up and enjoy them.

I’ve made a few other little dessert cup recipes before. My Keto Pecan Cookie Cups have a salty sweetness that everyone loves. And my Keto Peppermint Cheesecake Chocolate Cups taste like candy canes.
These low-carb cheesecake cups can be customized in a bunch of ways (and I’ll share some of my favorite ideas in the next section below).
But I just love adding that sugar-free cherry pie filling on top. They’re sweet and tart and so much fun to eat. Plus, they just look like the perfect holiday dessert!
Low-Carb Cherry Cheesecake
There are a lot of different ways to customize this easy dessert. First, let’s chat about the best sweetener to use when you make cheesecake.

I used Splenda because it’s easy to find and mixes in seamlessly with the cheesecake mixture. But you could also use some Monk Fruit sweetener if you want to.
Now, let’s talk about the cherries on top. I get it, cherries are really high in carbs.
So if you want to bring that carb amount down, replace them with your favorite type of low-carb berry. Strawberries are my favorites but you could also make blueberry cheesecake cups.
Low-Carb Cheesecake Dessert
These are a perfect make-ahead dessert for parties, big dinners, or to have on-hand when you feel snacky and want to eat something sweet.

Store your cheesecake cups in an airtight container and keep them in the refrigerator. They will stay fresh for about three days.
You can freeze them, too! I would freeze them without the cherry topping. Keep them in an airtight, freezer-safe container. For best results, eat them within six months.
