Is Caesar Dressing Keto
The best thing about this chicken skillet meal is that it’s smothered in your favorite Caesar dressing. There’s nothing a creamy Caesar dressing. It’s earthy, slightly nutty, and has the perfect balance of savory and salty flavors.
Almost any bottle of Caesar dressing will fit in with your macros on a keto diet. If you’re strict with ingredients, read the labels before you buy a bottle. Some brands make it with modified corn starch and a bit of sugar.
You can also make your own keto Caesar dressing. Wholesome Yum has a wonderful recipe for it!
Chicken Caesar Pasta
If you love a thick and creamy alfredo sauce, then you’ll really enjoy chicken Caesar pasta. By adding some butter and heavy whipping cream, it thickens the Caesar dressing.
The garlic, onion, and Italian seasonings round out all the other flavors. After you make this once, you’ll be able to throw it together again without a recipe!
Keto Pasta Noodles
I love using Palmini noodles! They are super-easy to cook with. Since they come in a can, you just have to rinse them off and heat them up.
Plus, their texture resembles al dente pasta very closely. For this dish, I used the linguini noodles.
You could also use zucchini noodles, butternut squash noodles, or spaghetti squash.
Chicken Pasta Meal Prep
This is a delicious recipe to add to your weekly meal prep rotation. Just be prepared because the heavy whipping cream and parmesan cheese will make the Caesar dressing solidify a bit in the refrigerator.
Your chicken Caesar pasta will stay fresh in the fridge for about three days. I prefer to heat it up on the stove, but you can use the microwave, too.
Chicken Pasta Sides
A plate of chicken Caesar pasta will fill you up, so you don’t have to make very many sides to go along with it. If you want, add a bowl of low-carb seven layer salad to the table. It’s packed with lettuce, bacon, hardboiled eggs, and more.
Or enjoy some low-carb million dollar deviled eggs on the side. They are high-protein and have lots of similar flavors, too.
I love making keto crack biscuits on the side with creamy pasta recipes! Dip the biscuits into the sauce. It’s divine.
Then, for dessert, enjoy some keto vanilla mousse. It’s the perfect combination.
