I’m a huge fan of the combination of cilantro and lime. It tastes incredible with cauliflower rice and chicken lettuce wraps. As good as it tastes with cauliflower rice and chicken, it also tastes delicious with salmon.
If you aren’t a fan of how cilantro tastes, you can replace it with fresh parsley. They are culinary cousins; parsley also tastes perfect with lime too. Fresh lime is the secret ingredient.
It brightens the salmon and brings the flavor of the cilantro to the forefront.
Keto Salmon Skewers
Always dampen the bamboo skewers before you put the salmon on them. This way, the skewers won’t burn or catch fire.
I filled these skewers with flaky salmon. If you want to add more to the skewers, layer some slices of bell peppers and red onions to them. You could even add a piece of pineapple to them, but be careful. Pineapple is high in natural sugar, so you will have to track your carbs and control how much pineapple you eat.
Lime With Salmon
These skewers are so much fun for kids to eat. Food on a stick – like grilled chicken skewers – is popular with kids and at cookouts. You can even grill the salmon in the house and them use it to make salmon bowls.
Just pull the grilled cilantro lime salmon off the skewers and then place it in a bowl on top of cauliflower rice, topped with avocado slices.
The combination of cumin and paprika makes the salmon have a smoky flavor. Add a dash of cayenne pepper and red pepper flakes to give it a bit more spice.

Salmon filet
Cumin
Smoked paprika
Garlic salt
Cracked black pepper
Minced garlic
Lime
Fresh cilantro
Greek yogurt – plain
INSTRUCTIONS:
In a small bowl, stir together cumin, smoked paprika, garlic salt and pepper.
Cut salmon into 1 inch cubes. Toss with the dry rub.
Skewer the seasoned salmon; 4-5 on each skewer.
Depending on how you are cooking the skewers (grill, skillet, or nonstick griddle), cook for approximately 7-9 minutes, turning occasionally to sear all the sides of the salmon. **I cooked mine on a nonstick griddle.**
While the salmon is cooking, stir together yogurt, minced garlic, fresh cilantro and lime juice.
Once the salmon is cooked to your preference, remove from heat and drizzle with yogurt sauce.
