These cilantro lime chicken lettuce wraps are a really easy lunch or dinner – especially if you make them in the Instant Pot. The chicken is infused with flavor in every bite!

Cilantro and lime are a classic flavor combination. After I fell in love with my cilantro lime cauliflower rice, I knew I wanted to make a chicken wrap recipe with the same taste. You know what? I did it!

You are going to love how juicy and flavorful this chicken is. There are so many ways to serve it – but my favorite is in lettuce wraps.

This juicy chicken tastes the best when it is wrapped in crunchy lettuce. In fact, this is the perfect chicken to make and store in food prep containers. It tastes delicious when it cold.

Save this marinade recipe. It’s creamy and zesty and tastes amazing on any type of meat that you want. You can use either sour cream or Greek yogurt. To stay low-carb, always use plain, unsweetened yogurt.

There are lots of different ways you can make lettuce wraps. You could also put some keto garlic butter shrimp and steak kabobs in lettuce wraps too. 

How To Prep Lettuce For Wraps 

My favorite type of lettuce to use in lettuce wraps is butter lettuce. You can also choose to use romaine hearts – they are large and work as wraps. In a pinch, chop up some iceberg lettuce and top with the chicken too.

What To Make With Chicken Breast

This is going to become one of your favorite chicken recipes of all time! There are lots of other ways you can use chicken breasts – it’s one of the most versatile types of meat that you can buy. I love keto Caprese chicken – it’s cheesy and has the most amazing balsamic glaze.

You can also make jalapeno popper chicken salad with chicken breasts too. The ideas are almost endless. 

Instant Pot Cilantro Lime Chicken Recipe

Here’s a list of ingredients to make this recipe. This is such an easy recipe – exact measurements are located in the printable recipe card below. 

Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 13 minutes
Servings: 4

INGREDIENTS:

Chicken Breasts
Water
Lime Juice
Cumin
Chili Powder
Cilantro
Olive Oil
White Onion
Minced Garlic
Butter Lettuce

Cilantro Lime Cream Sauce

Sour Cream
Lime Juice
Fresh Cilantro

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Add olive oil to an Instant Pot. Turn on Saute function.

2. Add minced garlic and chopped white onion. Saute for 2-3 minutes, or until onion is translucent. Turn off Saute function.

3. Top the chicken with cumin and chili powder.

4. Add one cup of water to the Instant Pot.

5. Place the chicken breast in the pot and top with lime juice and fresh cilantro.

6. Close lid, seal steam release valve, cook on High Pressure for 10 minutes. Once the cooking time is complete, let the pressure release naturally.

7. Remove chicken from pot to shred. Then return back to the pot to soak up some additional flavor.

8. To create the Cilantro Lime Cream Sauce, simply whisk together all the ingredients. If you would like a thinner consistency, feel free to add additional lime juice.

9. To create the lettuce wraps, grab a lettuce wrap and fill with shredded chicken. Top with chopped onion, tomatoes (optional) and cilantro. Drizzle with Cilantro Lime Cream Sauce and ENJOY!

Ingredients
  

  • 2 Chicken Breasts about 2 pounds
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1/4 cup Lime Juice
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin
  • 1/2 tsp Chili Powder
  • 1/3 cup Cilantro chopped
  • 2 tbsp Olive OIl
  • 1/4 cup White Onion chopped
  • 1 tsp Minced Garlic
  • 2 heads Butter Lettuce

Cilantro Lime Cream Sauce

  • 3/4 cup Sour Cream
  • 2 tsp Lime Juice
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Cilantro chopped

Instructions
 

  • Add olive oil to the Instant Pot. Turn on Saute function.
