Decorated with red bell pepper slices, these keto Christmas ornament cheese balls look like real ornaments (and taste so zesty!).
Cheese Ball Christmas Ornament
Christmas is such a fun time to bake and cook because you can get all creative with your food! And there’s nothing I like more than making people smile with the food I make.
These little cheeseballs look just like Christmas ornaments! And since cheese balls are already naturally low in carbs, they’re the perfect keto-friendly snack, appetizer, or food-gift idea.
These ornament cheese balls aren’t just fun to look at. They taste incredible, too!
I flavored them with a combination of reach seasoning and Worcestershire sauce. You won’t need to add any more salt or pepper.
They have the perfect balance of spices and flavors.
Christmas Cheese Balls
Whether you’re hosting the holiday party or attending as a guest, these cheese balls are the perfect thing to set out on the snack table. You can either make a bunch of really tiny ornaments (basically one for each guest) or make a few really large ones.
I prefer to make individual cheese balls. They’re so much easier to eat when each guest is able to get one on their plate.
Plus, they taste so good that you don’t even need any dippers or crackers. But you can totally eat them with a dipper if you want to.
Keto Cheese Balls
Speaking of dippers, what kind of keto-friendly dippers do you like to use to eat cheese balls? I like to use firm veggies, like cucumbers.
You can also use keto crackers or some pork rinds. And don’t forget to add the cheddar cheese to the full-fat cream cheese.
The combination of cheddar with cream cheese is what makes the cheese balls taste so zesty. If you want to add a little twist, use half cheddar and half colby jack cheese.
What To Eat With Cheese Balls
These bite-sized cheese balls make a delicious snack or Christmas party appetizer. Since there are 3 grams net carbs in each one, they are the perfect thing to grab when your stomach is growling in between meals.
How To Store Cheese Balls
The Christmas ornament cheese balls are the perfect appetizers to make ahead of the party, giving you more time to plan and decorate. Store the completed cheese balls in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
Serve or eat them within three days.
Can you freeze cheese balls? I don’t recommend it. As they thaw, the texture will change and they won’t be nearly as delicious.
