If you ever see chicken thighs on sale, grab them! This recipe is the perfect way to cook them. I love making keto chicken thighs because you can reuse them later on in the week in lots of different ways.
Shred the chicken up and make a jalapeno popper chicken salad out of it. Or chop it up and use it in a low-carb chicken soup. This is definitely a recipe that you can use over and over again.
Best Chicken Thighs And Asparagus
Use fresh asparagus in this recipe. You might be able to get frozen to work, it won’t have the same crispy texture.
Frozen asparagus comes out really soft. It works, it’s just not nearly as good.
Remember to remove the woody stems from the asparagus before you cook them. I usually trim about 2 inches off them before I add them to the skillet.
How To Use Chicken Thighs
Since this recipe is so low in carbs, feel free to serve it with as many side dishes as you want. I think it will taste amazing with some keto garlic knots. There is no such thing as too much garlic at dinner!
Add some cauliflower rice to the side and you have a very filling meal.
Don’t worry if you aren’t a fan of cauliflower rice. You can make cauliflower mash instead. It has lots of the same flavors, just a different texture.
If you have kids or family members that are not on the keto diet, you can serve them white rice so that it looks like everyone is eating the same thing.

Ingredients:
Skinless chicken breasts
Butter
Olive oil
White cooking wine
Minced garlic
Paprika
Salt and pepper
Red pepper flakes
Asparagus
Parsley for garnish
Instructions:
1. Heat the olive oil and 2 Tbsp butter in a skillet over medium high heat.
2. Season the chicken with salt and pepper, paprika and red pepper flakes to taste.
3. Saute until the chicken is cooked through. Remove and set aside.
4. Reduce the heat in the skillet to medium, and add in the garlic and remaining butter. Saute for 30 seconds.
5. Mix in the white cooking wine.
6. Add the asparagus to the skillet and saute until becoming tender.
7. Scoot the asparagus over to one side of the skillet, return the chicken, and spoon with the sauce before serving.

- 6 Boneless Skinless Chicken Thighs
- 6 tbsp Butter divided
- 2 tbsp Olive Oil
- 1/4 cup White Cooking Wine
- 3 tsp Minced Garlic
- 1/2 tsp Paprika
- Salt and Pepper
- Red Pepper Flakes
- 1 pound Asparagus woody stems removed
- chopped parsley
Instructions
