A keto meatza is a pizza with a crust made out of your favorite type of ground meat – and this one is filled with incredible toppings!
What Is Meatza
A meatza is basically a crustless pizza, or a pizza crust made out of ground meat. Some no crust pizza recipes use almond flour, but my recipe doesn’t have almond flour or pork rinds. And you don’t even need them! The crust stays together really well.
The secret to a tasty meat crust is to use plenty of herbs and spices. If you can use fresh herbs, even better! I used dried herbs and it tasted delicious.
Keto Meatza
This meatza recipe makes eight tasty servings and there are only 3 grams net carbs in each slice! This is the perfect thing to make for pizza parties. pizza nights, or to eat later on in the week for your meal prep.
The even better thing about making pizza without a crust is that it only takes 20 minutes for it to cook. It’s ready quicker than the time it takes for pizza delivery to arrive.
Meatza Pizzas Toppings
After you master how to make meat crust for your pizza, you can customize it with any number of low-carb toppings! I used mushrooms and pepperoni slices. But add other things like fresh basil, baby spinach, bacon, or even banana peppers on top.
You can also change the type of sauce that you use. Make a white pizza with alfredo sauce and shredded chicken – it’s so good!
Then, take your customizations a step further and make personal pan pizzas! Each person in your family can make and bake their own pizza with their own toppings.
Meat Crust Pizza
This keto meatza is made with just one type of ground meat – ground beef. But if you wanted, you could use half ground beef and half Italian sausage. That will give the crust a bit of a zing!
For more flavor, try adding some red pepper flakes to the crust too.
The garlic and onions give it a fantastic aroma and flavor. Make sure the onions are really finely diced. I suggest using a food processor. It gets them really tiny so they mix in with the ground beef really well.
What To Eat With Pizza
Serve the keto meatza with your favorite pizza sides! Keto garlic knots are super-tasty and really easy to bake. A bowl of Olive Garden salad also has Italian flavors that mirror the flavors in the pizza.
If you really want more protein, then make a Keto Big Mac Salad to go with your keto meatza. If not, then make the Big Mac salad without the ground beef.
For dessert, some Keto Crispy Cinnamon Cream Cheese Roll Ups will certainly hit the spot! They are topped with cinnamon and sugar and filled with rich cream cheese.

Ingredients:
Lean ground beef
Eggs
Onion
Basil
Dried oregano
Minced garlic
Salt and pepper
Low carb pizza sauce
Ricotta cheese
Mozzarella cheese shredded
Sliced mushrooms
Pepperoni slices
Fresh spinach
Parmesan cheese for garnish
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 450 degrees.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, minced garlic, eggs, onion and salt and pepper to taste. Knead until well combined.
Press the meat mixture onto a parchment lined baking sheet. You can form it into either a circle or a rectangular shaped crust.
Bake for 15 minutes, or until cooked through. You can pour off any excess grease at this point. Turn the oven to broil.
Top the meat crust with the pizza sauce, mozzarella cheese and ricotta.
Add the mushrooms, pepperoni and spinach to the pizza.
Broil until the cheese has melted.
