These low-carb bourbon pork chops are exceptionally juicy! The smoky bourbon glaze adds the perfect amount of flavor and even a little natural sweetness.

Is Bourbon Keto
This is a good question, because I used 1/4 a cup of real Kentucky bourbon. This is what gives the pork chops their distinct flavor.

Yes, bourbon is a keto-friendly type of alcohol. It’s a distilled spirit and doesn’t contain any sugar or carbs.
There are some people that try to go really strict on keto – including cutting out all alcohol. And that’s fine – especially if you’re stuck on a weight loss plateau and want to kick start your weight loss.
Most of the time, liquor – like bourbon – won’t make you gain weight. It’s what you add with the bourbon that can be a problem (and what drinking the bourbon might make you want to eat).
Bourbon Pork Chops
These bourbon-glazed pork chops taste even better than they look. And they look incredible!

As they sear, the bourbon glaze sizzles and you’ll be able to smell all of those tantalizing aromas. But be patient!
You need to cook the pork chops until they reach an internal temperature of 145F. Once they reach that number, remove the chops from the heat.
Let them set for a few minutes. This waiting time is important.
It lets the chops finish cooking without drying them out.
If you’re tired of bland, dry pork chops, make this recipe. They are ready in 30 minutes, making them a perfect last-minute dinner on those nights when you don’t have a lot of time to cook.
Best Kind Of Bourbon To Cook With
You honestly can’t go wrong with Jim Bean or Wild Turkey. The best rule to follow is to cook only with a bourbon you’d be willing to drink.

In other words, if the bourbon is really cheap and has a terrible flavor, it won’t add anything good to your pork chops, either.
But I also recommend keeping your really expensive bourbon for your good drinks. Don’t cook with pricy alcohol.
Since most of the alcohol burns off during the cooking process, you’ll be wasting a lot of money if you cook with it. Instead, go for a middle-of-the-road bourbon with spicy and peppery notes.
What To Eat With Pork Chops
Make your favorite vegetables, soup, or salad to go with some bourbon glazed pork chops. They are the perfect entree, ready for your favorite side dishes.

How about some keto cauliflower stuffing? Or serve the pork chops with a bowl of keto creamy cucumber salad with cranberries.
You could also go for something really cheesy and make keto broccoli mac and cheese on the side.
How To Store Leftover Pork
This recipe makes four servings. That’s enough for your family to eat with you but you’ll probably have leftovers.

Store your leftover pork chops in an airtight container and keep them in the refrigerator. Reheat and eat them within three days.
You can freeze them, too! Let them cool off completely and then put a sheet of parchment paper on a plate and put the pork chops on top.
Put the plate in the freezer. Once the pork chops are completely frozen, wrap them in the parchment paper and put them in a freezer-safe resealable food storage bag.
Keep them in the freezer for up to six months.
