Crispy and baked to perfection, keto egg rolls taste just like the egg rolls from your favorite Chinese restaurant.
Egg Roll Wraps
If you’re craving Chinese takeout on the keto diet, then make these egg roll wraps! There are just 2 grams net carbs in each wrap. You’ll be able to indulge in two or three without guilt.
The secret to making keto-friendly egg rolls is what you use to wrap them in. The filling is naturally low in carbs – just some shredded cabbage, ground pork, green onions, and a bunch of spices.
So to keep the carbs low, I used egg wraps! They are super healthy for ya, being high in protein. And naturally low in carbs!
Keto Egg Rolls
I love the flavors and ingredients in egg rolls. The quickest way to make them is to create egg roll in a bowl. No wrapping necessary! But sometimes I miss the taste and crunch of the egg roll wraps.
So, use egg wraps! They have the same flavor and mouth feel. You can’t even tell they are keto-friendly. Then, make extra and eat them throughout the week.
Store leftover keto egg rolls in an airtight container and store them in the refrigerator for up to three days.
Can you freeze keto egg rolls? Yes, you can! Wrap each egg roll in plastic wrap or foil. Then place them in a freezer-safe food storage bag. They will stay fresh in the freezer for up to six months.
What To Eat With Egg Rolls
Since egg rolls are a classic Chinese side dish, I like to serve them with an Asian-inspired meal. Start out by making some keto bok choy stir fry with soy sauce eggs.
This has the same umami flavors with bright green bok choy. Don’t forget the keto egg drop soup – it’s a staple whenever I make Chinese food for dinner. Instead of a salad, I’ll serve some low-carb tuna sushi in a bowl. Same flavors but less carbs.
For the main course, either keto Korean beef stir fry or keto sweet and sour pork skillet will taste amazing! The flavors will really stand out – and everyone will love it.
What Are Egg Wraps
I used EggLife and fell in love with them. They look and taste like a cross between a tortilla and a crepe.
Which makes sense when you look at the ingredients – they are made with egg whites and xanthan gum. That’s basically it! Which also means they have no net carbs!
If you’re on a strict keto diet and trying to avoid all processed flour, then these are perfect for you. Plus, you can find them at Walmart, instead of having to go to a specialty grocery store.
Keto Egg Wraps
I just love the flavor and texture of these incredible wraps! They really make it feel like I’m eating egg rolls from my favorite Chinese restaurant.
Plus there are a lot of different ways to change up their flavors. Add some Sriracha to make them spicier. Use ground beef instead of ground pork. Or use half low-sodium soy sauce and half Hoisin sauce for a bolder (and saltier) flavor.
