This is more than a taco salad. Keto Doritos ground beef salad is topped with chipotle ranch dressing for flavors that pop!

Doritos Ground Beef Salad
Wait, Doritos aren’t keto-friendly! They are made from corn and have way too many carbs!

Yup, that’s why I used Quest nach cheese chips! If you haven’t discovered Quest chips, take this as your sign to try them.
You can find them in the supplements section of the grocery store. They’re high-protein, low-carb chips and they taste just like Doritos!
I’ve used them before to make keto crunchy Dorito beef burritos. The flavor is outstanding and taste even better in this simple salad.
The ingredients might be simple, but the flavor isn’t. It’s complex and loud and tastes like a fiesta!
Keto Ground Beef Salad
Ground beef is one of my favorite protein sources on keto because it’s so versatile. But my tacos are my favorite way to use it.

This salad reminds me of a simple taco salad. So of course I had to use ground beef!
But you can replace the ground beef with ground chicken or turkey. If you choose to use a white meat for the salad, add more chili powder and cumin.
Both ground chicken and turkey have a very bland taste, so it will take more spices.
Spicy Ranch Salad
The salad dressing is what ties all the ingredients together. I used some Chipotle ranch dressing.

Feel free to use your favorite kind of ranch dressing. You could even use some buffalo ranch dressing!
Enjoy a milder-tasting salad with plain ranch dressing. I think the heat from the chipotle peppers and the creaminess of the ranch dressing combine perfectly to enhance the chili powder in the ground beef and the nacho flavor in the chips.
If you really want to make your salad spicier, add some sliced jalapeno peppers.
What To Eat With Salad
Soup is my favorite thing to eat with salad. And this Doritos salad is so flavorful that I suggest matching it with a soup that’s also really bold.

Serve this salad with Keto turmeric zucchini soup that’s light but bold or this Low-Carb dill pickle soup that is bursting with fresh flavor from the dill.
If you’re really hungry, then make a keto bread bowl with cream of chicken soup. It will fill you up!
This salad also tastes delicious with keto French Onion soup. You’ll love how they taste together.
How Long Does Cooked Ground Beef Last
Cooked ground beef will stay fresh in the refrigerator for up to three days.

If you want to keep this salad for your meal prep, I recommend storing the ingredients separately, and then mixing them together fresh. This way, the lettuce won’t soak up the dressing and get a soggy texture.
You can save a lot of time by browning the ground beef and spices ahead of time.
