These little treats taste like something off a food truck! Keto air fryer cinnamon sugar twists are delightfully crispy and sweet.
Keto Bread Twists
These taste like sweet sugary breadsticks that you might get from your favorite pizza place. Soft and chewy keto cinnamon breadsticks with a twist will quickly become a favorite snack or dessert to share.
It’s really easy to mix the dough and make the twists. Then, all you have to do is bake them and sprinkle the cinnamon sugar on top!
These sweet bread twists are a guilt-free dessert or snack! They are naturally gluten-free and grain-free. Each twist only has 2 grams net carbs!
Air Fryer Cinnamon Sugar Twists
You can make them in the air fryer or the oven. I love using the air fryer to make breadsticks like these, because it makes them perfectly crispy!
Just don’t forget to flip them over halfway through baking. That way, they won’t burn on the bottom.
They are so high in protein and healthy fats that you can enjoy a few of them for breakfast or when you’re feeling snacky. Serving them at a party will make it easier to resist other carby, high-sugar snacks.
Keto Cinnamon Sugar Dessert
The cinnamon and sugar coating elevates the twists from tasty breadsticks to addicting snacks! Use Swerve granulated sugar substitute so that you get the same flavor and texture as table sugar!
I’ve used this combination of flavors on other keto-friendly desserts before.
If you like cinnamon and sugar together, you might also like Keto Crispy Cinnamon Cream Cheese Roll Ups and Keto Pancake Mix Cinnamon Donuts. Both of them are slightly spicy and pleasantly sweet in the best way!
Fathead Dough
How do you make keto-friendly breadsticks and desserts? The secret is to make fathead dough! Keto dieters commonly use fathead dough to make pizza crust, but there are so many other ways to use it.
What’s in fathead dough? It’s made with a combination of mozzarella cheese, cream cheese, baking powder, and almond flour.
I’ve used variations of fathead dough to make savory dishes, like Keto TikTok Chicken Cobbler and Keto Crack Biscuits. It’s also the perfect base for sweet desserts like Keto Churro Chips, Keto Bagel Bites, and Cranberry Brie Keto Flatbread.
There are so many different ways to use it! And it makes these sweet keto bread twists irresistible too.
How To Store Cinnamon Sugar Twists
This recipe also includes a sweet keto-friendly glaze. I suggest storing leftover twists separately from the glaze.
Store the glaze in a different airtight container and keep it in the refrigerator for up to three days.
The unglazed keto twists can be kept in an airtight container or food storage bag at room temperature for up to five days. As long as you keep the air off of them, they will last longer.
