Chicken Bacon Ranch Roll-Ups
There are some flavors that naturally go together. Like peanut butter and jelly or salt and vinegar. Chicken, bacon, and ranch is a trio of ingredients that tastes iconic together.
I loved my keto chicken bacon ranch pizza and my keto chicken bacon ranch casserole. In fact, they taste so delicious together that they are the main ingredients in my keto crack chicken recipe.
And you can’t get much easier (or tastier) that my keto roll-ups. They’re made with melted cheese, so they have no carbs!
I took my favorite cheese wrap and filled it with a chicken bacon ranch filling. The result is a lunch that you’ll enjoy eating so much you won’t even glance at the takeout menu.
Keto Chicken Roll-Ups
Trust me, make some extra chicken ahead of time, shred it, and store it in an airtight container in the fridge. Then, you can use it in these roll-ups.
You could also use rotisserie chicken or canned chicken. But some leftover chicken from a keto chicken skillet recipe will taste amazing in the roll-ups.
There are a few other ingredient swaps you can make in this recipe. The shredded cheese is one of the easiest things to change.
Use shredded sharp cheddar cheese instead of Colby Jack, or Pepper Jack for some bite. And if you’re trying to watch your saturated fat intake, then I suggest frying up and using turkey bacon instead of pork bacon.
Best Cheese For Roll-Ups
I’ve made roll-ups with all sorts of different types of cheese before. You can make them with soft mozzarella cheese or a hard cheese like sharp cheddar.
It all depends on the flavor that you’re going for. For these roll-ups, I wanted a milder wrap that let the chicken, bacon, cream cheese, and ranch stand out.
Colby Jack has a mild flavor and it melts beautifully! Please remember to let it cool before you try to wrap it.
As it cools, the cheese will harden, making it easier to move.
Keto Lunch Ideas
These are the perfect roll-ups to eat for lunch. Add your favorite salad or snacky foods with it for a filling meal.
They will taste delicious with a little bit of keto tomato egg salad or low-carb BLT cauliflower salad (for more veggies). And for something sweet, a bit of low carb basil marinated berries and cottage cheese will hit the spot.
How To Store Roll-Ups
These roll-ups taste the best when they are hot and fresh out of the oven. The longer they sit in the refrigerator, the softer the cheese wraps will become.
Store leftovers in an airtight food storage container in the refrigerator for up to three days.
