If you love the flavors of cheddar, bacon, and ranch, then you’ve got to make this keto fried cabbage noodles recipe. There are 5 grams net carbs per serving – so it’s the perfect low-carb dinner.

Creamy Fried Cabbage 

This is a super-quick dinner that you’ll be able to enjoy within 30 minutes! This is a hearty, creamy, and very filling side dish. The only meat in it is the bacon.

If you want to make it a complete meal, shred some rotisserie chicken and add them to the skillet. Or serve it with your favorite entree.

You’ll love how perfectly the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, and ranch dressing go together! If you have family members that don’t like the taste of cabbage, let them try this recipe.

All the flavors overpower the cabbage, so you can’t even taste it.

If there is one piece of advice I can give, it’s that you should shred your cheddar cheese at home. Trust me, the flavor will be so much more pronounced if you do! Plus, it will melt better, too.

And look at the ingredients in your bacon, too. If you’re on the keto diet, don’t buy bacon that has maple syrup in it.

You need a sugar-free bacon. I like to use thick-cut bacon in this recipe because when you crumble it, the pieces are larger (and I love bacon!). 

Keto Cabbage Noodles 

If you miss pasta, but aren’t in the mood for either Palmini noodles or zucchini noodles, then I suggest making cabbage noodles! There’s nothing to it. 

Keto Creamy Bacon Ranch Fried Cabbage

You just slice the cabbage into strips and then fry it in the skillet. That’s it! This recipe is so easy that it only takes about 30 minutes for it to cook, from start to finish!

The bags of shredded cheese that you can buy will speed up your process, but they have anti-caking agents in them, which diminishes the overall flavor. 

And there are a bunch of ways to use cabbage noodles, too! This recipe has the iconic cheddar bacon ranch flavor that I love and have used before.

I’ve made keto chicken bacon ranch casserole and creamy keto bacon ranch pork chops before. In fact, most of my bacon ranch recipes are made with cream cheese.

This time, I chose to use cheddar with the cream cheese and the result is a bigger flavor. It tastes amazing! 

How To Store Fried Cabbage 

The cheesy fried cabbage also tastes yummy with some sweet keto pork shoulder. That’s a slow cooker recipe, so dinner will be ready without much effort at all.

Cabbage is a mild vegetable that tastes delicious with any meat that you cook. Cabbage might be mild, but this recipe is bursting with flavor!

So I suggest serving it with an entree that has a lot of flavor, too. It will taste perfect with chicken coq au vin. 

The creamy flavors in the cabbage also pair well with keto Salsbury steak. It has a rich, savory broth topped with mushrooms, so the mild cabbage side dish rounds out the flavors perfectly.

These cheddar bacon ranch cabbage noodles are the perfect things to add to your weekly meal prep. The cabbage noodles reheat really well and taste even better the next day.

Store the cooked cabbage in an airtight container and keep it refrigerated for up to three days. It will taste better the sooner you eat it.

I suggest reheating it in a skillet. If you use the microwave, the noodles might taste too soft. 

I don’t recommend freezing the dinner. If you do, the texture will change after you try to reheat it.

Ingredients

  • Olive Oil 
  • Cabbage 
  • Bacon 
  • Onion 
  • Heavy Whipping Cream 
  • Cream Cheese
  • Ranch Seasoning
  • Shredded Cheddar Cheese 
  • Green Onions 

Directions 

Onion in a skillet

Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add in the onions, and saute for 3 minutes.

Cream Cheese

Stir in the cabbage, and stir to combine. Cover and saute until the cabbage has begun to soften. Mix in the cream cheese until melted.

Sprinkle in the ranch seasoning, and stir to combine.

Heavy Whipping Cream

Pour in the heavy whipping cream, and saute until well combined and the cabbage is softened. Mix in half of the bacon.

Top with the cheese, and cover until melted.

Sprinkle with the remaining bacon and green onions before serving.

  • 5 cups Cabbage cut into long noodle shapes
  • 1/2 Onion diced
  • 6 slices Bacon cooked and crumbled
  • 1/3 cup Heavy Whipping Cream
  • 3 ounces Cream Cheese softened
  • 1 tbsp Ranch Seasoning
  • 1 1/2 cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 1/4 cup Chopped Green Onions

Instructions
