Turn fajita night into a cookout! These steamy and cheesy keto steak fajita foil packets can be made on the grill or in the oven.
Keto Steak Fajita
This is one of my easiest recipes yet! You literally add everything to the foil packets, season it, add the cheese, and bake it!
And I only used six ingredients, too. That leaves a lot of room for creativity.
Feel free to use your favorite low-carb vegetables or change the type of cheese that you use.
My steak fajita foil packets are pretty mild, too. If you want them to be spicier, I suggest adding some sliced jalapenos before you put them in the oven or add a bit of hot sauce after you pull them out of the oven.
Steak Fajita Foil Packets
I love steak fajitas! I’ve made a few other steak fajita-inspired recipes that my family loves. Keto slow cooker steak fajitas are super easy and tender.
Steak fajita skewers are a lot of fun to make on the grill. And for lunch you can’t get much easier than my keto steak fajitas lettuce wraps.
This is the perfect thing to eat for dinner. It’s so filling and it has all you need – the meat and the vegetables!
Keto Fajita Foil Packets
To make these fajita foil packets, I used NY strip steak. Since the steaks will be cooking quickly, I suggest using a good quality steak.
Anything cheap will be hard to chew. So go for NY Strip, Sirloin, or ribeye.
And please remember to use heavy-duty aluminum foil! The cheap foil rips really easily and then you have quite a mess to clean up.
What To Eat With Fajitas
Eat the fajitas with your favorite low carb tortillas or eat them with a fork. You don’t need a wrap at all.
These fajitas are a classic Mexican recipe, so serve them with your favorite Mexican sides. Start out with homemade keto tortilla chips and your favorite homemade keto salsa and don’t forget about the keto nachos.
Add some Mexican cauliflower rice on the side, along with some taco soup and you have a Mexican feast for the entire family. Then, finish it all with some Keto strawberry shortcake for dessert.
How To Store Steak Fajitas
These steak fajitas are the perfect thing to add to your weekly meal prep. Store the leftover steak fajitas in an airtight container and refrigerate for up to three days.
You can freeze them, too! Store the steak fajita mixture in a freezer-safe food storage bag. Keep them in the freezer for up to six months.
