Recreate the most popular steakhouse green beans in your kitchen. Low-carb Texas Roadhouse green beans are made with real bacon and garlic giving your flavor that kicks your tastebuds into action.

Texas Roadhouse Green Beans
Have you been to Texas Roadhouse? It’s a family-friendly restaurant full of country music and known for their rolls with cinnamon butter and steaks.

One of the most popular sides on their menu is the green beans. It has a distinct garlic flavor and is served mixed with crispy bacon pieces.
Recreating it at home was super easy! This recipe is perfect for you if you’re looking for a delicious way to cook green beans.
It’s also easy enough for beginning/new cooks or if you don’t have time for a complicated recipe. The green beans are ready in about 20 minutes – that’s it!
Low-Carb Green Beans Recipe
For the best flavor, I suggest using fresh ingredients. That means using fresh green beans, dicing an onion, using real garlic (not jarred) and cooking raw bacon (not using shelf-stable bacon).

Fresh ingredients have a lot more flavor and a lot less salt/sodium. It’s better for you and the flavors stand out, too.
I used chicken broth because it’s easy to find and I always have extra in my fridge. But you can use chicken stock or vegetable broth.
If you use unsalted butter, then you can even make your own chicken broth from a bouillon cube.
Copycat Texas Roadhouse Recipe
I love making keto-friendly copycat recipes! The best way to stay dedicated to the keto diet is to make recipes that you actually enjoy eating.

That means taking those popular foods from your favorite restaurants and making low-carb versions at home.
For example, instead of eating fast food, you can make keto In-N-Out Animal Style Burger roll-ups. And if you like salads, then make keto Chick-Fil-A copycat slaw.
Use the search bar in my blog to look for “copycat” recipes and you’ll find a bunch! These green beans are in good company.
Just like all the others, they have a flavor that tastes just like the real things.
Green Beans and Bacon
It’s no secret that green beans and bacon are perfect together. The savory and salty notes from the bacon bring out the sweetness in the green beans.

It’s the reason I’ve put them together in a few other recipes before. My keto green bean casserole has mushrooms, bacon, onions, cream cheese, and green beans.
I also made another green beans and bacon recipe before – but that one had sugar-free honey and soy sauce with it. In order to replicate the popular steakhouse side dish, I kept the recipe simple.
After you make it once, you probably won’t need to refer to the recipe again! But please share it to your Facebook or Pinterest so your friends can make it.
What To Eat With Green Beans
These green beans are popping with flavor and aromas! Serve them with your favorite dinner entree and sides.

You can’t go wrong, they’re a classic side dish that goes with pretty much anything.
If you like rolls or breadsticks, make some keto copycat Olive Garden Breadsticks. And keto cauliflower mash also tastes delicious with pretty much everything too.
For the entree, make a skillet steak or some keto-friendly chicken tenders. Both choices will recreate the steakhouse experience.
