Lunch, dinner, appetizers or snacks – these keto broccoli and bacon roll-ups are made with rich cream cheese and a low-carb cheese wrap.
Broccoli and Cheese Roll-Ups
Some ingredients just seem to go together. You’ve got peanut butter and chocolate, chicken and ranch, and bacon and eggs but let’s not forget about broccoli and cheese!
Cheese is one of the best ways to make broccoli taste better. It’s why I made Keto Broccoli Mac and Cheese (and my kids actually love it!).
This time, I’m taking that iconic duo and turning it into another popular recipe on Stylish Cravings – a cheese roll-up.
Basically, you just bake some shredded cheese until it’s soft. Then, let it cool and it becomes pliable.
I use this as a wrap on so many things – and today I’m using it to wrap up cheesy broccoli and bacon!
Broccoli and Bacon
If you struggle to enjoy eating broccoli, try making it with lots of cream cheese and bacon. This might just turn your opinion around!
The cream cheese is almost sweet and the bacon is…well…it’s bacon! Bacon makes everything better and I suggest chopping the broccoli up into tiny pieces, too.
You can make the broccoli and bacon roll-ups ahead of time and eat them cold, if you want. Store them in an airtight food storage container and eat them within 3-5 days.
If you want to reheat them, do it in the air fryer so they stay crispy.
Keto Broccoli Roll-Ups
These keto broccoli-roll-ups are so tasty that you’ll forget you’re eating broccoli! Try it!
If you really don’t like broccoli, or you want to try something different, replace it with cauliflower or some zucchini. Or dice up some bell peppers into really tiny pieces.
If you like the flavor of cheese and bacon in a roll-up, I have another recipe you can try for lunch! My Keto Chicken Bacon Ranch Roll-Ups have a crispy texture and that chicken ranch flavor that so many people love!
Cheesy Bacon Roll-Ups
I like to make these for a quick lunch. They take almost no time at all!
They will be ready in 15 minutes and they taste the best when they are fresh. If you want something on the side, make a quick chopped salad.
Or add some of my veggie-filled sides to your plate. They will taste delicious with a little bit of keto tomato egg salad or low-carb BLT cauliflower salad (for more veggies).
For something sweet, a bit of low carb basil marinated berries and cottage cheese will hit the spot.
Crispy Broccoli Roll-Ups
I kept this recipe really basic so that you can change it however you want. The only seasoning I used was a bit of garlic and onion in the cream cheese mixture.
You could add some sugar-free honey substitute and red pepper flakes for a hot honey variety. Or add a pinch of Cuban seasoning to the cream cheese for some heat.
I think the best ingredient to add to the cream cheese is a pinch of ranch seasoning mix!
