This keto feta chicken salad will make you look forward to eating salads – even salads with broccoli – again!

Feta Chicken Salad
I’ve made a lot of keto chicken salad recipes over the years. Some with cucumbers, some with fruit, and even some stuffed into a cucumber.

After I made low-carb avocado feta salsa I knew I had to make a feta chicken salad. I love the taste and texture of feta cheese.
The soft crumbles and tart taste enhance everything I’ve ever made with it. And this time, the feta cheese actually makes the raw broccoli taste good too.
I usually prefer to cook broccoli because it tastes sweeter when it’s cooked. But when you make this salad, the feta cheese, lemon juice, fresh dill, and creamy dressing all make the raw veggies taste amazing.
Keto Chicken Broccoli Salad
One of the best things about this salad is that it isn’t like any other chicken or chopped salad. So many chicken salad recipes involve canned chicken mixed with a mayo dressing.

And chopped salads involve a bunch of lettuce with some kind of dressing. But with this chicken broccoli salad, you get all new textures and tastes.
Yes, you can use canned chicken. I love it because it lasts so long in the pantry and I don’t have to cook it
You can speed up a lot of time by pre-chopping the veggies ahead of time (or just buy some chopped veggies from the produce section). All these crunchy veggies are so much fun to eat and they’re a big change from soggy lettuce.

Do you like tangy flavors? If so, this salad is perfect for you!

The mayo, Greek yogurt, and feta cheese all have different levels of zip and tanginess that work beautifully together.
And trust me – splurge and get some really good mayonnaise. It will make all the difference!
Oh, and remember to get unsweetened, plain Greek yogurt.
You can also replace the feta cheese with any other type of crumbly cheese. Try this salad with bleu cheese crumbles or try it with some crumbled goat cheese!
Cheesy Chicken Salad
Cheese is one of those ingredients that you can really play around with when you cook. It usually has no carbs (unless you get a honey-sweetened cheese) and almost all the different flavors taste incredible together.

Browse the imported cheese section at the grocery store and pick out some hard cheeses and add them to the salad. You’ll love it.
Trust me, only use fresh dill. Dried dill doesn’t have nearly the same amount of kick or flavor to it and if you can, use fresh lemon juice from a lemon.
Jarred lemon juice will still work, but fresh has a slightly sweeter flavor.
What To Eat With Chicken
This chicken and broccoli salad is the only thing you need to eat for lunch. It has your veggies, healthy fats, and protein but if you want to add a few things to the side, I have some ideas.

Add some low-carb everything bagel breadsticks or some cheesy garlic spinach parmesan zucchini boats on the side. Of course, you can never go wrong with some crispy keto bang bang cauliflower either.
Or just serve it with a mild garlic cauliflower rice side dish. I love cauliflower rice and it goes with pretty much anything.
