Chicken Parm Lunch
I love a classic chicken parm! Crispy, breaded chicken that’s topped with parmesan cheese and smothered in marinara sauce – it doesn’t get better than this! In fact, I love it so much I’ve made other versions of it before.

I made Easy Keto Chicken Parmesan Casserole for dinner and my family loved it! And I kept things really easy when I made Air Fryer Keto Chicken Parmesan.
This time, I’m making a version of chicken parm that makes a perfect lunch. These chicken parm smash tacos come together in about 15 minutes.
And the highlight of this simple lunch are the homemade chicken burger patties, fresh mozzarella, and sweet marinara sauce.
Keto Chicken Parmesan
Classic chicken parmesan involves breading some chicken and then frying it. But this time, I took ground chicken and made meatballs with it.

To mimic the crispy breading, I put the chicken meatballs inside street taco sized tortillas. This is just as fun to eat as the classic chicken parm but cooks a lot quicker.
Plus, the chicken parmesan smash burgers are easier to pack in your lunch. But if you’re going to pack them in your lunch, I suggest putting the marinara sauce in a separate container.
Then, add it last or use it as a dipping sauce. This way, your smash tacos will stay crispy until lunch time.
Chicken Parm Smash Burgers
Even though these are called chicken parm burgers, you don’t have to use ground chicken. Try this recipe with ground turkey and you’ll realize it tastes just as good or mix in some ground pork with the ground chicken.

This will give it bit more spice (and more fat, too).
Pay close attention to the type of marinara sauce that you use. Make sure you pick out not just “no sugar added” but also look at the amount of carbs.
Tomatoes naturally have a lot of carbs, so choose the kind with the lowest amount of carbs. I personally really like Simply Ragu because it’s affordable and delicious at the same time.

I think these are equally delicious! These chicken smash burgers make the perfect low carb lunch or dinner.
What To Eat With Chicken Parmesan
I like to serve these chicken parmesan smash burgers with classic Italian side dishes. Make some keto garlic knots or keto breadsticks. And for even more flavor, make a low-carb Olive garden salad.

If you’re feeling really hungry (or you want to eat them for dinner) then make a bowl of keto turmeric zucchini soup with the smash burgers.
You can also make a big batch of Keto No Pasta Pasta Salad to share. Then, add some keto sausage and spinach roll-ups to the table and you’re ready to party!
Keto Chicken Parmesan Smash Burgers Recipe

Ingredients:
- Zero carb street taco-size tortillas
- Ground chicken
- Marinara sauce
- Parmesan grated parmesan cheese divided
- Italian seasoning
- Sliced fresh mozzarella
- Basil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Mix together the ground chicken, ⅓ C parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning and salt and pepper to taste in a mixing bowl. Form the mixture into balls, and place into the center of each of the tortillas.

Drizzle a bit of oil in a large skillet over medium high heat.
Smash the tortillas meat side down into the skillet, and fry until the meat is cooked through and the tortillas are crispy.

Top each smash taco with some marinara and 2 slices of mozzarella cheese.

Sprinkle with basil before serving.

- 1/2 cup Marinara Sauce
- 1/2 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
- 1 tsp Italian Seasoning
- 8 ounces Sliced Fresh Mozzarella
- 1/4 tsp Basil
Instructions
- Mix together the ground chicken, ⅓ C parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning and salt and pepper to taste in a mixing bowl.
