This keto gingerbread latte incorporates all your favorite seasonal spices and flavors. It tastes like winter in a cup!
Keto Gingerbread Latte
Before I was on the keto diet, I loved watching the coffee shops roll over their menus to the holiday flavors every year! And just like clockwork, peppermint mochas and gingerbread lattes were always my favorite drinks to order.
You don’t have to give up your favorite drinks just because you’re on the keto diet. You just have to make it at home with low-carb ingredients.
To get the iconically sweet flavor of a classic gingerbread latte, I used sugar-free maple syrup, sugar-free honey, and a combination of spices (ground ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves).
Homemade Gingerbread Latte
It’s no secret that gingerbread is one of my favorite winter holiday flavors. I’ve made a bunch of keto-friendly gingerbread recipes before.
From Low Carb Gingerbread Brownies to Keto Gingerbread Whoopie Pies, there are so many different ways to recreate this classic recipe.
The secret to a delicious gingerbread latte is the perfect balance of spices. Don’t add too many cloves; they are known to be overpowering.
If you want it to be a little spicer, add a bit more ginger and cinnamon.
Copycat Starbucks Latte
I believe the best way to keep losing weight on keto is to recreate your favorite recipes at home. And I have a bunch of low-carb copycat Starbucks recipes you can make!
Of course, you can’t go wrong with a slice of Keto Starbucks Gingerbread Loaf. And if you liked this latte, then make the popular Keto Brown Sugar Shaken Espresso.
And you can never go wrong with either a Keto Pink Drink or a Keto Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew.
Keto Breakfast Recipes
There’s no denying how amazing it tastes to sip a gingerbread latte while you munch on your favorite breakfast in the morning. It’s divine!
This will taste perfect with a keto gingerbread donut or a keto crustless tomato quiche.
Or skip all the cooking and make some low-carb avocado toast. I started to really like cottage cheese toast too!
Best Milk For Latte
Any type of milk will work perfectly in this recipe – and it can still be low-carb. I used unsweetened plain almond milk.
That’s how I calculated 3 grams net carbs in each serving. If you use a different type of milk, you’ll have to recalculate the macros in each serving.
Remember to always use unsweetened and plain milk – no matter which kind you choose. Oat milk is the worst choice on a keto diet, since there are a shocking 17 grams net carbs in each cup!
Nope. Stay away from oat milk!
