This keto shrimp recipe is so easy to make; you’re basically just seasoning the shrimp and heating it up on the stove. This is one of those go-to recipes you make when life is so busy that you just want to throw something in a skillet and eat.

Keto Honey Garlic Butter Shrimp

It’s as easy as heating up a microwave dinner but a thousand times tastier! 

It’s made with simple ingredients. You can customize this a bunch of different ways, too. Add more cayenne pepper if you want it spicier. Add more garlic powder for a bolder earthy taste. 

Keto Honey Garlic Shrimp 

I love finding new ways to cook with sugar-free honey. It tastes just like natural honey, but it won’t kick you out of ketosis. Honey naturally sweetens mild shrimp and gives it an addicting flavor. 

Keto Honey Garlic Butter Shrimp

I’ve used keto-friendly honey to make honey garlic chicken thighs and honey mustard glazed ham. You’ll find so many things to make with sugar-free honey that it’s definitely worth the investment. 

Keto Garlic Butter Shrimp 

Garlic butter is another classic combination that goes with almost anything, too! I’ve used garlic butter to make zucchini and yellow squash and steak with zucchini. 

For the best flavor, I suggest using fresh garlic cloves or even jarred minced garlic. You can use dried garlic powder, but it won’t have nearly the same aromatic pungency, so get some fresh garlic. 

Honey Garlic Butter Shrimp 

This is the perfect thing to make in a huge batch for the rest of the week. There is only 1 gram net carb per serving and this recipe makes 4 servings. If you eat the entire 1 1/2 pounds of shrimp it makes, you’ll only eat 4 grams of carbs!

So, make a double batch and save the rest in the refrigerator. It will stay fresh in an airtight food storage container in the fridge for up to three days. 

Then, eat them cold on a salad; or heat them up and eat them on top of some cauliflower rice. 

What To Eat With Shrimp 

This seafood recipe tastes delicious with almost anything! Make your favorite asparagus recipe, or serve it with some cauliflower fried rice.

It’s also bold enough to make your favorite zucchini noodles or palmini noodles recipe taste incredible. 

Or serve this with your favorite salmon or cod recipe. It’s a flavorful addition to your seafood dinner.

Ingredients:

Large shrimp peeled and deveined
Butter
Minced garlic
Sugar free honey
Salt and pepper 
Cayenne pepper
Green onions 

Instructions:

Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium high heat.  Pat the shrimp dry with a paper towel.
Season the shrimp with salt and pepper to taste.

Add the shrimp and garlic to the skillet, and saute until cooked through.

Pour in the honey, and saute until a bit caramelized.

  • 3 tbsp Butter
  • 3 tsp Minced Garlic
  • 3 tbsp Sugar-Free Honey
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 pinch Cayenne Pepper
  • Chopped Green Onions for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium high heat.

  • Season the shrimp with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Add the shrimp and garlic to the skillet, and saute until cooked through.
  • Pour in the honey, and saute until a bit caramelized.
